Conversation with BNI Life: How Pathomics Health & 42 Detalytics Add Real Value for Policyholders

Friday, April 10, 2026. The KTCC Integrasi Indonesia team led by Ahmad Yuldan, President Director, alongside Yuri Andrianov, Chief Marketing Officer visited BNI Life's office at Gedung Centennial on Jl. Gatot Subroto, Jakarta. We were welcomed by Ibu Dyanti Indraswari, Head of Corporate Intermediary – EB Open Market Division, and her team for what turned out to be a candid and substantive conversation.
At the heart of our discussion was a problem the industry has lived with for years but never quite solved: the price war in corporate health insurance.
The dynamic is well-known. HR teams are squeezed between cost-cutting mandates from management and employee expectations for full coverage. Insurers compete aggressively on price to win tenders. Everyone is uncomfortable with the situation, yet everyone plays along because that's how the system has been built. Once the price war is over, the winner still has to navigate inconsistent claims standards and varying customer expectations. Inevitably, insurers end up being seen merely as "payors" rather than strategic health partners.
Regulators have taken notice. OJK's POJK No. 36 of 2025 on Strengthening the Health Insurance Ecosystem is a comprehensive attempt to restructure this dynamic introducing co-payment caps of up to 5% to reduce moral hazard, mandating product transparency, and pushing insurers to adopt medical management and utilization review practices. The regulation also clarifies the relationship between insurers, hospitals, and TPAs to reduce inefficiency. The direction is clear: the industry needs to move beyond claims payment toward proactive health management.
This is where KTCC brings a different perspective.
We believe health insurance can and should deliver more than financial protection when someone falls ill. With the right health management integration, insurers can become platforms that help companies actively manage employee health risk, not just absorb it. Employee wellbeing isn't simply an operational cost, it's the foundation of productivity and business continuity.
42 Detalytics takes a goals-driven metabolic approach going well beyond routine check-ups to deliver comprehensive assessments covering metabolic risk, lifestyle patterns, diet, and mental health, all translated into actionable, personalized recommendations. Employees don't just understand their health status; they get a concrete roadmap for improving energy, focus, and overall quality of life. With an AI agent enabling continuous monitoring and adjustment, the platform is proactive rather than reactive, helping users maintain optimal performance every day.
Pathomics Health complements this through precision medicine. Services like PathGene (genetic testing) and early disease screening give companies a much deeper understanding of their employees' individual health risk profiles from chronic disease predisposition to metabolic conditions like diabetes or cardiovascular risk. This data shifts the insurance model from reactive, claim-based operations toward a predictive health management ecosystem. The "Predict, Prevent, Personalise" approach delivers measurable outcomes: reduced claims, improved productivity, and better employee quality of life overall.

The conversation with BNI Life reinforced what we already believe: the industry's challenges are real, and the answer can no longer come from pricing alone. What's needed is a more holistic approach, one where data, technology, and integrated health services create value that employees can genuinely feel. We left the meeting optimistic that this kind of collaboration points toward exactly that.
As a follow-up to this conversation, we extended a personal invitation to the BNI Life team to join an exclusive session co-hosted by Pause & Rebuild x PT KTCC Integrasi Indonesia:
